It Came to my attention the other day a number of complaints of several players that play the massively multiplayer online browser-based strategy game developed by UMGE Called Evony Online Formerly Known as Civony. Here is a list of complaints that haven't been resolved and that Evony is denying.
Cheating
As we know the developers of a game bust restrain themselves from cheating so that the game mantains a critical balance of fairness between the players that are playing the game. Specially when there is real money involved in the game. Even when the game is of free membership players can for a fee obtain certain extra benefits that helps them in the development of the game. But wath use is for you to pay with real money for a service if there is a group of people that are cheating thus creating an unbalanced playing field? Specially when the people that are commiting these actions is the same alliances of the staff members?
This actions are unethical and lack of utter respect for the players that are playing the game. Some of the complaints go from adding more ingame money or resources to some player accounts to even bypassing game rules in the battle mechanics of the game. Here is one example of the mentioned complaints.
They have created an alliance that marches on numerous cities with 90k archers and lose few while the defenders lose everything god its to much to give but basically they are using their influence with coding to give their alliances and members thing they shouldn't have.
Influence with the coding??? Isn't that evidence of the lack of total respect of the other thousands of people who play this game? This is clearly in violation of many federal laws of fair services. It is a scam to the people who play the game and such injustice cannot be tolerated.
Im gonna keep people further informed about the situation about evony. By the moment any person that has been wronged by evony is welcomed to make their post and be heard.

I to have the feeling there is cheating or something wrong with the game as the alliance MISC is an alliance that has members of the evony staff in it. I was recently attacked by them the city they attacked had 12,000 archer towers, 3000 traps and other defences that toaled close to 20,000 before the attack which was after I logged off last night. When I logged in this morning there was only one plunder report in my reports saying I was attacked with 90,000 archers my defenses were 3172 towers and the total defensive untis for the city were a little over 5000. all my defenses were destroyed taking out only 198 archers. Since the 3172 towers are supposed to be the best and I ve had several other attacks by other players I do not see why they only lost 198 since my defenses even when I came out of protection where taking out up to 10k troops from other attackers while losing alot less in defenses. I also was booted by what I thought was the massive problem they have, lag, but when I tried to log back in I was informed that I didnt have an account and needed to create one. This came after complaining after openly complaining in server chat. Another thing that got me was I tried to post something about the alliance MISC and ask how they can support 90,000 archers this morning on the forum page and was informed that my post was deleted because I was a spambot by one of the moderators.

ReplyDelete90K archers defeat you're crappy wall defense every time. 90K archers vs 3172K ATs could could suffer no loses if you tech sucked, if you had low level walls, and he had maxed out tech.
People who sit there with just wall defenses don't know how to play the game
evony does suck. majorly. its ads are misleading. i ask this: are their women with huge breasts in this game? no? then why are there ads full of tits! its misleading and a lur to reel in boys look for titties. and the game is shit anyway
ReplyDeleteThe money players of the game is what destroys it. How the hell can you defeat a member who's dumped hundreds of dollars into the game with speed ups and scripts? Money players should be on another server, period not along side people who have to sit and wait 45 hours for a upgrade.
ReplyDeleteWell instead of spending their money on what should be spent on, which would be fixing and improving their server, they waste their time and money on millions of ads and buying ad space on many various companies and spamming the readers on any such forums with PLAY EVONY NOW. I refreshed my forum page 100 times, and a poorly exposing banner showed up 98 times.

The so called game Evony is a generic game based on stolen ideas from AGE OF EMPIRES! Please be aware that it is not a free game. They want you to spend your money buying Evony Coins to aquire greater kingdom status. The game itself is a build your kingdom strategy game but, building structures such as town centers (stolen from Age of Empires along with every other structures in the game) takes a long time to build and if you want the structure to be built faster, the gamer has to purchase evony coins. If the gamer does not have enough coins guess what?...the gamer has to break out his credit card and buy Evony Coins!

I have played this game and after 7 days of building my kingdom, some jerk comes in and destroys what i have worked hard in building. It made me feel like i just wasted my time building for nothing. It made me very angry. Please do not play this game. It will save you a world of aggravation.

ReplyDeleteAgeII is the same crap. at first i noticed that the vallies around my cities were changed i thought nothing of it but a few hours later got the same network error message over a period of like 3hrs i just gave up it's hard i spent a lot of time on this game now i know better it's a total waste of time. i rather play star craft anyways
